I'm  a military spouse of more than 20 years, and the mother of a teenager and a preschooler.  I graduated from college with a degree in English and Theatrical Design.  I worked in the world of professional theater, as a costume designer, in children’s theater and Shakespeare camps.

 

I love to travel, and have been lucky enough to live in Europe for 11 years, and visit more than 25 countries, on 4 continents. 

 

My first love has always been the written word, and as a child, I could almost always be found with my nose in a book.  I started writing stories at a young age and wrote a play that was performed at my elementary school’s Thanksgiving pageant.  It was one of the great highlights of my young life.  I've written two more plays that were performed at my high school, along with dozens of other, unpublished, stories.   In addition to my professional work, I write stories for pleasure.  When I'm not busy doing all the things that come with being a wife and mom, I can still often found with my nose shoved in a book...or e-reader.  Ifirmly believes that laundry is awful, dogs are great, high heels are gorgeous, and that Magnum ice cream bars just might be the world’s most perfect food.
